On Friday, March 27, we took a trip to the American Museum of Natural History on the Upper West Side. For those of you who have seen the movie "Night at the Museum," this is that same museum.
This is the fourth trip we've planned to go to the museum, but the first time we actually went through with our plan and got to the museum. It was a fascinating place, and we'd love to go back.
Although we walked through much of the museum, we decided to take pictures only of the prehistoric stuff, since we found that the most interesting. Instead of commenting on each picture, we want you to remember back to your elementary school days and name the dinosaur/animal/object that goes with each picture. For those that want a harder challenge, see if you can spell each answer correctly. (I have provided the correct answers at the bottom of the post.)
Picture A
Picture B
Picture C
Picture E
And we have to throw this picture in there. It's the closest we've come to documenting Olivia's smile.
Answers:
A: Tyrannosaurus Rex
B: Stegosaurus
C: Triceratops
D: Mammoth
E: Easter Island Statue

Oh fun!! I got the first two right. Ha ha. What a cute picture of her smile. As you know, I still have a hard time getting one of Belle! Plus, Daniel I love that diaper bag strap over your shoulder. Very hip!
I obviously don't know my dinosaurs, but it sure looks like it was a fun trip. And super cute picture of Olivia! Cute cute!
If you guys want to venture out to Vernal this summer, we have a pretty awesome dinosaur museum with thousands of fossils and bones. Oh yeah, and you could see us and stay at our place. Looks like you're having fun out there in the big city.
