She's Five Weeks Old!

With this post, we're finally caught up! Here are the pictures from the past two weeks, in chronological order. For some reason, her binky ends up being in every picture we take. We didn't notice that until we uploaded these for posting. See if you (or your little kids) can spot it in each picture!

About a week and a half ago, Olivia managed to grab her binky out of her mouth while she was asleep. She wasn't asleep for much longer!

She's really enjoyed lying in the love sac in the mornings. Many mornings, Olivia will wake up before Andrea does. So I take care of Olivia. She sits in the love sac and watches me study at my desk.

Her eyes have gotten really good at focusing on things other than light. She makes regular eye contact with us. Even though we haven't gotten any pictures of it yet, she has done some deliberate smiling too in the last couple of days!

Sometimes, she gets bored watching me study. So she takes a little nap while she waits for me to come play with her. And look, she's doing just fine without her binky.

She's saying, "Dad, are you ready to pick me up and play yet? I'm so bored!"

This is a picture we took this morning. Her cheeks are really getting chubby! You'll notice that we invested in a binky clip. Now it won't fall on the ground when she spits it out.

There we are. All caught up. Who knows what the next week will bring? Crawling? Training pants? No. 2 pencils? Boyfriends? Good grief! She's growing too fast!
