Daniel Performs on the Organ

On Saturday, May 2, our church had an arts festival. Throughout the day, there were painting classes, photography classes, dance performances, film screenings, and even activities for kids. To close out the day, they had two big concerts. The first featured classical music and the second tunes from popular Broadway musicals.

I was the first performer in the classical music concert. I played Bach's Prelude in A minor, BWV 543. Although the prelude is normally followed by a fugue, I didn't have time to work up the fugue. I've got a good excuse: finals are this week!

I haven't done a performance like this for a while. It was fun to play a big piece on a big organ again.

Oh, and a note from Andrea. Excuse the lame camerawork. She had a squirmy 3-month-old on her lap. You can even hear Olivia once or twice.

Clap, clap, clap, applause, applause, applause. Nice job Daniel. I enjoyed listening to your performance.

It was great to hear you again, Daniel. (And I enjoyed Olivia's little noises too.) I love that amazing things that your New York area does!
