Olivia Meets Madison

Yesterday afternoon, I brought Olivia to the hospital to meet her baby sister. For most of the time we were there, Madison slept. So Olivia was more interested in the hospital bed, the new Elmo movie she received as a gift at the hospital, and looking at the ocean, boats, and cars out the window. But once Madi woke up, Olivia quickly became intrigued by the squirming baby. She wanted to get as close as she could when Madison opened her eyes. And then when Madi started to cry (she was hungry), Olivia's lip began to quiver. It was really sweet. We are thrilled for these little girls to have each other and to look out for each other.

Congrats! Madison is beautiful! Olivia already looks like she will be a great big sister...so sweet and gentle with her new little sister. Isn't it precious to see siblings meet for the first time?

Congratulations you guys!! Little Madison is adorable. She and Olivia are going to be the best of friends! I wish you were still in NY so we could meet her, but I know you guys are loving the California sun:)

Congratulations! Glad to hear/see that things went smoothly and Madison is here and healthy, that Olivia loves her (so far), and that Andrea is recovering well. (wish I looked that good in the hospital!)

You can tell already that she has a lot of Olivia's features, huh? I see it in her lips. She's a cutie! I'm so glad everything went well and you were able to get there in time for the epidural (I was so nervous for you!) Also, I apologize for Olivia's shorts being smeared with mac and cheese! I learned quickly that my bibs are not as effective as yours when it comes to self-feeders! :)

Congratulations!
